Suge Knight murder case heats up

A Los Angeles judge ruled that prosecutors have enough evidence to try hip hop mogul Marion "Suge" Knight, 49, for allegedly running down two men intentionally with his pickup truck in late January outside a Compton, Calif., burger stand. Terry Carter died, and Cle "Bone" Sloan suffered serious injuries.

Superior Court Judge Ronald Coen also agreed Friday to an Associated Press request that he release some evidence to the public. This includes a one-hour police interview with Sloan, and, perhaps most damning, a video from a surveillance camera outside the burger stand that captured what happened. Footage shows Sloan approaching Knight's truck and speaking to Knight through the driver's side window. A struggle ensues, with Sloan throwing punches at Knight. The car backs up, throwing Sloan to the ground, then it lunges forward over Sloan's leg, running over Carter, who was standing a few feet away.

Knight's lawyers say he was trying to flee an ambush engineered by Sloan and several of his friends when he ran over the two men.

To the barricades: Ready for second royal baby

St. Mary's Hospital in London on Friday was cordoned off with barricades manned by police. A few feet away stood legions of photogs. The hospital is where any day, hour, minute, nanosecond Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, will give birth to her second bairn with Britain's future king, Prince William.
