Step into the tasty world of "Chocolate: The Exhibition" at the Academy of Natural Sciences through Jan. 24.

Whether you're a chocolate novice or an informed enthusiast, you'll find you're learning things about this treat once deemed the food of the gods. The exhibition allows visitors to experience the chocolate craze of centuries past with activities such as the bartering of cacao seeds for goods in an Aztec market.

Also explored are chocolate's origins and its journey across the Atlantic. Touch the seeds and pods as you stand under a life-size cacao tree. See how chocolate's preparation styles have evolved throughout time with the addition of a single magic ingredient: sugar.

Storybook Theatre's 'Cinderella'

Cinderella continues through Saturday at St. Joseph's University's Bluett Theater.

Adapted by Patricia Goldberg and presented by Storybook Musical Theatre, with songs and lyrics written by Kevin Arruda. Enjoy the story of poor Cinderella, magically transformed, transfixing the prince at the ball to the chagrin of her step-sisters, then disappearing at midnight - leaving behind only a glass slipper. Will the prince find her?

Doc Swan's magical mashup

Doc Swan brings the tricks Saturday to the Sellersville Theater.

This audience-participation mashup of magic, comedy, and variety show features Doc telling his life story while juggling and doing tricks - including making several hats from one piece of felt and escaping from handcuffs. He'll perform some Houdini tricks with his own modern spin as he quickly breaks free from a straitjacket.
