Salute to Vienna

Andras Deak conducts the Philly Pops, the Kiev-Aniko Ballet of Ukraine and international champion ballroom dancers in their 14th annual visit. Soprano Sera Gosch and tenor Michael Heim bring their native Viennese lilt to those familiar anthems in three-quarter time.

Philadelphia Orchestra

Famed American mezzo-soprano Susan Graham joins the orchestra, under the baton of Yannick Nezet-Seguin, in arias by Mozart, Lehar, Offenbach and Messager. The orchestra offers Haydn's "Farewell" Symphony, plus familiar waltzes and polkas by Johann Strauss Jr.

Mummer's Parade

This year's parade route goes backward along Broad, City Hall to Washington Ave. Lasts all day.
