Stephen Collins: I'm flawed

"I'm a flawed person," the embattled Stephen Collins concedes in a chat with Katie Couric, to stream Friday on Yahoo and air on ABC's 20/20. Collins, 67, repeats an earlier confession, that decades ago he sexually assaulted three underage girls. Collins, who played a minister on WB's 7th Heaven,  says he was healed of his unhealthy desires many decades ago with the help of his faith. "It's . . . one of the things I love about the church. . . . Christ says in so many ways, 'Bring me that which about you is broken. Bring it.' And most people are broken."

The Obamas on racism

The fact that they have led such successful lives hasn't shielded President Obama and his wife, Michelle, from racism, the first lady tells People mag during a joint interview with her husband.

Before the White House, "Barack Obama was a black man that lived on the South Side of Chicago, who had his share of troubles catching cabs," she says. "I mean, even as the first lady - during that wonderfully publicized trip I took to Target . . . the only person who came up to me in the store was a woman who asked me to help her take something off a shelf," the first lady said of a 2011 trip to a store in Alexandria, Va. "Because she didn't see me as the first lady, she saw me as someone who could help her. Those kinds of things happen in life. So it isn't anything new." The prez also revealed his fave movie of the year: Boyhood, director Richard Linklater's coming-of-age story, which was shot over an 11-year period.
