NOTE TO VISITING CELEBS: If there's one way to get Philadelphians to love you, it's to publicly disparage any football team that is not the Eagles.

Yesterday, comedian Chris Rock, a brilliant man, started his introduction of his new movie, "Top Five," with a rousing "Go Eagles. F--- the Ravens."

The crowd at the Ritz Five went wild.

Of course, the next stop on Rock's five-city promotional blitz was Baltimore, where he tweeted, "You guys were great." Could it be that Rock was being insincere about his distaste for the Ravens in order to promote his movie?!

Rock was supposed to hang out in Philly a lot longer, but bad weather meant that his plane was delayed and he had to skip out on a planned trip to Tony Luke's (39 E. Oregon Ave.). Instead, Rock headed right to the movie theater to intro the film he wrote, directed and starred in about a major comedian who, after a string of terrible blockbusters, wants to get serious.

"Spread the word, I need it. You do not want to see me on 'Dancing with the Stars,' " Rock said, underestimating my desire to see him on "Dancing with the Stars." "You don't want to see me on 'Love & Hip Hop'!"

(Major shout-out to WDAS's Patty Jackson, who kept the crowd entertained while we waited for Rock.)

Even though Rock didn't make it to Tony Luke's, he still got his fix. I hear the good cheesesteak slingers made sure that Rock got a steak for the plane ride home.

"Top Five" hits theaters on Friday.

OUT AND ABOUT

* Supermodel Kate Upton is becoming a regular at Philly's steakhouses. When she's in town, anyway. The supermodel joined her boyfriend, Cy Young Award winner Justin Verlander, at Barclay Prime (237 S. 18th St.) on Sunday night after Verlander attended the Eagles game with Millville, N.J.'s own Los Angeles Angel Mike Trout and golf superstar Rory McIlroy. Gossip fans will remember that Upton and Verlander were spotted at Del Frisco's (1426-28 Chestnut St.) and the Melting Pot (1219 Filbert St.) earlier this year, some of their first public appearances after rekindling their romance.

* Comedian Carrot Top has been around Philly since the weekend, dining out and about. Mr. Top did a little drinking at MilkBoy Philly (1100 Chestnut St.) on Monday night.

* Local celebs showed up in full force to support Faatimah and Kenny Gamble's Evening of Style and Grace last week. Emcees and "Good Day Philadelphia" co-hosts Mike Jerrick and Alex Holley attempted to duet on Teddy Pendergrass' "Turn Off the Lights," alongside NBC10's Jacqueline London. Other guests included WMMR's Pierre Robert, WDAS's Patty Jackson, Mimi Brown and Frankie Darcell, former Hot 107.9 morning host Laiya St. Clair, state Sen. and 2015 mayoral candidate Anthony Hardy Williams, philanthropist and music-publishing mainstay Kal Rudman, baby-boomer TV host Pixanne (a/k/a Jane Norman), Pretty Poison's Jade Starling and Whey Cooler, the Hooters' David Uosikkinen, state Reps. Margo L. Davidson and Vanessa Brown, and Boyds Philadelphia owner Jeffrey Glass.

Ellen raises a mint

Cincinnati Bengal Devon Still and Ellen DeGeneres (and celebs like Taylor Swift, ex-President Bill Clinton and the boys from One Direction among others) raised a whopping $7,650 for Children's Hospital of Philadelphia through an eBay auction of Still's jersey autographed by the above celebs (and many more) set up through DeGeneres' show.

Still's daughter, Leah, is being treated at CHOP for Stage 4 neuroblastoma.

Maclin's toy time

Eagle Jeremy Maclin and his excellently monikered foundation, J Mac Gives Back (along with law firm Zarwin Baum), will host a toy drive to support Little Smiles PA on Monday at Chima (1901 John F. Kennedy Blvd.) from 5:30 to 8 p.m. To hang with Maclin, all you'll need is a $10 donation or an unwrapped toy.
