Chris is sexiest dude 2014

Chris Hemsworth has been graced with the greatest honor in the land: People's Sexiest Man Alive 2014. The 31-year-old thesp has graduated in a decade from Australian soap opera Home and Away to become the god Thor himself.

He says he's honored and that he will use his new title to bug his wife, Elsa Pataky.

"I think you've bought me a couple of weeks of bragging rights around the house," Chris tells People. "I don't need to do the dishes anymore, I don't need to change nappies."

Chris, who has three kids with Elsa - daughter India, 2, and 8-month-old twins Tristan and Sasha - said that sexy or not, he's a committed family man: "We just had a big beach day with the kids, swimming and kicking the ball around . . . . That's what it's all about."

Lisa Kudrow: Embrace life

It's no use going through life constrained by rigid goals. Especially when you're barely old enough to drink.

So preaches The Comeback star Lisa Kudrow.

"I never thought I'd be an actress. It wasn't even on my mind when I was 22, sitting at graduation," she tells Glamour mag. "Then something hit me: You've always kind of wanted to be an actress - now is the time to try."

The 51-year-old Friends alum, who wed Frenchman Michel Stern in May 1995, also has advice about marriage: Love isn't eternal, good therapy is.

"When [Michel and I] decided to get married, we understood: We're not promising to love each other forever, because you can't do that," she says, "but we are promising to work on whatever problems come up."

Hank reveals his soul

"Everything is great," Kendra Wilkinson tells Us Weekly of her marriage with footballer Hank Baskett. Really? The former Eagles player has been through the wringer after news broke of his affair with transsexual model Ava London.

Now the couple are trying to rebuild their marriage - at least on the set of the reality show Marriage Boot Camp and Dr. Phil. What celebs will do to rehab their image!

Hank, for one, has decided to share his soul with us all. "For the past two years, I've gone through a serious struggle with depression, and during that time I lost the ability to open up to my best friend, Kendra," he tells Us Weekly. "I hit bottom. My greatest fear is losing my family."

But is any of it real?

Despite telling the world all is well, Kendra has fallen out of love with Hank, Anonymous Source tells Life & Style Weekly. Why stay with him? So she can remain a celeb: "She knows if she leaves him, her relevance goes out the window," Second Insider says.

Gossip petits fours

Their breakup was nasty, but Taylor Swift and Harry Styles "have become pals," Unnamed Insider tells Us Weekly. . . . Scandal star Scott Foley, 42, and his wife, Marika Dominczyk, 34, have welcomed their third child, baby boy Konrad Foley.

It was 'Gloria'

A Patti Smith song lyric quoted in Wednesday's "SideShow" was erroneously identified. It's from the song "Gloria," which is included on the Horses LP.
