* BIG DRIVER. 8 p.m. Saturday, Lifetime.

Norristown's Maria Bello (below, with Will Harris) stars, along with Joan Jett and Olympia Dukakis, in this ultra-violent revenge story adapted from a Stephen King novella. Bello gets down and dirty as a writer of cozy mysteries whose life is changed by a horrific assault. Not for the faint of heart.

* MY BOYFRIENDS' DOGS. 9 p.m. Saturday, Hallmark.

Better for the faint of heart: Erika Christensen ("Parenthood") plays a runaway bride whose relationships all seem to come with four-footed, drooling baggage. Maybe not for cat people.

* BROOKLYN NINE-NINE. 8:30 p.m. Sunday, Fox29.

Nick Cannon ("America's Got Talent") comes aboard for a Halloween episode, his first appearance in a recurring role in which he'll play the nephew of Captain Holt (Andre Braugher).

* THE GOOD WIFE. 9 p.m. Sunday, CBS3.

This show is on fire. And even if Alicia Florrick (Julianna Margulies) doesn't end up running for state's attorney, that whole subplot would be worth it just for last week's episode, in which "opposition research" opened up a juicy can of worms. I cannot wait to see what happens next.
