A LITTLE hard news from Tattle:

After throwing a first pitch that would have shamed an uncoordinated toddler, 50 Cent (a/k/a Curtis Jackson) revealed in a Reddit "Ask Me Anything" the reason for his horrible toss.

"I have a skeletal muscle injury on my left shoulder from excessive masturbation."

Maybe instead of pitching, 50 Cent should try batting practice. He obviously has a nice stroke.

* The Los Angeles Times reports that 50 Cent will accept bitcoin for his newest album, "Animal Ambition."

The album, released Tuesday, can be purchased using bitcoins from shop.50cent.com.

Tattle apologies

Jonah Hill, for using a homophobic slur in screaming at an aggressive paparazzo; Pharrell Williams, for wearing a Native-American headdress on the cover of Elle; and Justin Bieber, for once again using the N-word in a video, this time when he was 14. These celebrities regret their errors.

TATTBITS

J.K. Rowling added a subtle comment under her pen name Robert Galbraith yesterday about the standoff between her publisher and Amazon.com.

The "Harry Potter" author noted in a tweet from @rgalbraith that there are "lots of ways to order" her novel The Silkworm, as "Amazon kindly suggest(s)." Rowling spokeswoman Rebecca Salt confirmed that the twitter account was authentic.

Amazon is in a contract dispute with Hachette Book Group, and isn't accepting preorders for The Silkworm and other Hachette releases. The Silkworm, Rowling's second Galbraith detective novel, is out June 19.

Hachette authors James Patterson and Sherman Alexie and non-Hachette author John Green are among those who have strongly criticized Amazon, which has suggested that negotiations will be prolonged and that customers in the meantime can buy Hachette books from its competitors.

Or, for one hardcover copy ofThe Silkworm, you could buy three weeks of the Daily News. Now that's value.

Josh Trank will direct one of the planned stand-alone "Star Wars" films.

Lucasfilm said yesterday that Trank will helm one of the two announced "Star Wars" spin-offs being made outside of the third trilogy. An earlier announced spin-off is to be led by "Godzilla" helmer Gareth Edwards.

Trank is the director of 2012's science fiction thriller "Chronicle." He currently is working on "The Fantastic Four," the unnecessary reboot scheduled for release next year.

Lucasfilm gave no details on the new "Star Wars" movie.

* "Good Morning America" co-host Robin Roberts will receive the 2014 Walter Cronkite Award for Excellence in Journalism from Arizona State University's Cronkite School.

The university announced that Roberts will receive the award Oct. 6 in Phoenix.

Cronkite School Dean Christopher Callahan says Roberts has made outstanding contributions to journalism and demonstrated great personal courage.

Roberts faced public battles with breast cancer in 2007 and a bone marrow disorder in 2012.

Well, she's certainly demonstrated great personal courage.

* Just six weeks ahead of its planned release, the Wachowskis' space thriller "Jupiter Ascending" has been postponed until 2015.

The movie, with a budget of $150 million or more and starring Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis, will now open Feb. 6 instead of July 18.

It's a stunning and unusual move for a high-profile film so close to release. "Jupiter Ascending" will bounce out of the lucrative but high-pressure summer movie season and into early February, often a dumping ground for troubled movies.

* If you want to buy Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick a Christmas gift, something for the baby may be in order.

People magazine reports that Kourtney is pregnant with the couple's third child, due in December.

With rumors flying that Kanye West wants a second child quickly, maybe "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" should be renamed "Knocking Up the Kardashians."
