He loves all sports, music, and learning

Markius is passionate about sports. He is on the football field in fall, the basketball court in winter, the baseball diamond in spring, and the local fishing pond in summer. The 16-year-old also loves music and frequently writes his own rap songs or practices the latest dance moves. He's quite creative, and his ability to draw is very impressive.

In school, his teachers describe him as engaging, cooperative, friendly, and anxious to learn and, unlike many youngsters, he eagerly awaits the next project assignment. Markius loves science and volunteers answers, which are usually correct. A member of the school's recycling committee, he is responsible for many presentations.

Markius has endured many losses and separations and yearns to have a permanent home with a mom and a dad. He would thrive with a patient, loving two-parent family that would be sensitive to his vulnerabilities. A Lifebook - an ongoing record of his life, including photos, souvenirs, documents and other items as well as his comments - has been started for him.
