Sideshow: Osbourne has double mastectomy

Sharon Osbourne, who successfully battled colon cancer a decade ago, has revealed that she recently had a double mastectomy even though her breasts were cancer-free. The 60-year-old heavy-metal spouse and talk-show host tells Britain's Hello! that she was impelled to make that radical move last summer after learning that she has a gene that predisposes women to breast cancer. "As soon as I found out I had the breast cancer gene, I thought: 'The odds are not in my favor,' " Osbourne said. "I decided to take everything off and had a double mastectomy." It was a "no-brainer," insisted Ozzy's wife. "It's a decision I made that's got rid of this weight that I was carrying around," she told Hello!

"I want to be around for a long time and be a grandmother to Pearl," she said, referring to her son Jack's girl with wife Lisa Stelly. "I didn't even think of my breasts in a nostalgic way. I just wanted to be able to live my life without that fear all the time."

Brad Pitt doesn't have a fashion line or a perfume brand, but he's joining the branding game - with designer furniture.

Architectural Digest says Angelina Jolie's fiance has created a 12-piece collection in collaboration with North Jersey-based furniture-maker Frank Pollaro.

"I've been doodling ideas for buildings and furniture since the early 1990s, when I first discovered Charles Rennie] Mackintosh and Frank Lloyd Wright," Pitt, 48, tells the mag. When it comes to prices, it ain't exactly Ikea: Pieces go for tens of thousands of dollars, although a mass-produced collection may be on the way. "The same chair we charge $45,000 for might sell for a fraction of that," Pollaro says.

No Doubt has pulled its music video for the dance track "Looking Hot," after the group was hit with a torrent of complaints that the cowboys-and-Indians-themed vid features stereotyped and demeaning images of American Indians.
