Fan of 'Sesame Street,' Bieber, and basketball
Shante is a pleasant 13-year-old who loves Sesame Street characters, so she was thrilled recently to visit Sesame Place, where she met Big Bird, Elmo, and some of the others she loves to watch on television. Later, she was delighted to have lunch with them. She also played games and toured the park.

characters, so she was thrilled recently to visit Sesame Place, where she met Big Bird, Elmo, and some of the others she loves to watch on television. Later, she was delighted to have lunch with them. She also played games and toured the park.
Other things that make Shante happy are listening to Justin Bieber, playing basketball, watching the Philadelphia Eagles, and anything in the color pink. She can be shy when meeting new people, but soon warms up. Shante enjoys going to school, where she benefits from special education classes and is learning life skills. Math is her favorite subject. She would like to be a cheerleader some day.
Shante would like a family that will love her and take care of her. She wants a mom and a dad, but is open to a single parent. The ideal family for her will be patient and committed and will provide support and structure. It would be great if there are other children and a cat in the family.
