India is a warm and loving 14-year-old who loves to socialize and be with groups of people. When she smiles, the whole room brightens. She loves attention and smiles and giggles when you talk to her. India especially enjoys talking on the phone, getting manicures and pedicures, and creating artwork. She is very artistic. Fashion conscious, she delights in being complimented on her outfits and fingernails.
Diagnosed with cerebral palsy, she relies on wheelchairs to get around. Enrolled in the seventh grade, India does well in school. She is learning to communicate more effectively with words and an electronic device. She loves to sing and is a member of the school choir.
India resides in a pediatric medical facility that provides for her physical, developmental, and educational needs. She participates in the facility's annual Halloween parade and competes in a costume contest.
An ideal parent for her would have a medical background or would be willing to learn how to provide for her medical care. Her medical facility will provide training for her medical needs. India's forever family will need to support her through adulthood. She is eligible for financial assistance.
