Three babies in the forecast for NBC10 meteorologists

The forecast calls for babies for not one, but two NBC10 meteorologists.

Michelle Grossman is expecting a boy in December, her first child with NBC10 digital manager Jamie Simmons, who is at the London Olympics as technical lead for the NBC-owned TV stations. The pair married earlier this summer.

Grossman has a daughter, Ella, 4, from a previous marriage.

And Dave Warren is excitedly awaiting twins in December, the first children for him and wife Alison Frick, a real-estate agent. The twins are due around Christmas. Warren says the couple does not know the genders yet.

In other TV news, Fox 29 "Good Day" co-host Sheinelle Jones revealed the names of her new twins. They are Clara-Josephine and Uche Ade Christian, who is named after Jones' husband Uche Ojeh. The babies were born July 10.

Wayne Brady, Ruby Dee, La La Anthony and Bokeem Woodbine just wrapped up a film called "1982" that was shot predominantly in East Oak Lane over the past month. The film stars Hill Harper as a man who tries to protect his daughter (Troi Zee) after his wife (Sharon Leal) becomes addicted to crack. The film is set in Philadelphia in 1982 at the onset of the crack epidemic.

The film was written, directed and produced by Tommy Oliver, whose last film, "Kinyarwanda," won the audience award at last year's Sundance Film Festival. Harper, Paull Cho and Heather Rae are executive producers.

Echochic's Jennifer Ramsay did wardrobe for the film with a lot of help from her extensive vintage-clothing collection.

"Lost" star Josh Holloway is a class act. The actor, in town shooting "Paranoia," insisted on paying for his own ticket when he caught "The Buddy Holly Story" just before it closed last week at the Walnut Street Theatre. Actor Chris Sutton, who played Holly, said he ran into Holloway in Center City and struck up a conversation. He offered comp tickets but Holloway refused and said he wanted to buy a ticket and support the theater, America's oldest. Holloway danced it up for the last 20 minutes of the show and also visited Sutton in his dressing room at intermission, raving about how much he enjoyed act one.

Speaking of the Walnut Street Theatre, look for its producing artistic director, Bernard Havard, to discuss theatrical artifacts on National Geographic Channel's "America's Lost Treasures" at 9 p.m. Wednesday.

Holloway did some filming last week at a private residence at 5th and Morris streets in South Philly along with Richard Dreyfuss and Liam Hemsworth. Hemsworth also shot last week at the Loews Hotel and Comcast Center.

The film stars Hemsworth as a tech engineer who gets blackmailed by his boss (Gary Oldman) into spying on a corporate rival played by Harrison Ford, who turned up in town with a shaved head late last week.

Hemsworth's fiancee, Miley Cyrus, has been hanging around town with him and tanning regularly at Hollywood Tans (1107 Walnut), as well as touring the Gayborhood, which she tweeted about loving, including a stop at Woody's (202 S. 13th). Woody's is a bar but seated the 19-year-old pop star in its downstairs all-ages restaurant section.

Dreyfuss and wife Svetlana Erokhin enjoyed dinner at R2L at Two Liberty Place the night before Wayne Brady stopped in.

CBS 3/CW Philly anchor Ukee Washington has some special visitors on his first day back from medical leave Tuesday. Washington, who's been out since late May recuperating from hip replacement, and Pat Ciarrocchi will be joined at noon on "Talk Philly" by Zach Galifianakis and Will Ferrell. The actors will appear live after their National Constitution Center event promoting "The Campaign," which opens Aug. 10. Doors open at 10 a.m. for "The Campaign" stop at the NCC.

And joining Ciarrocchi at noon Monday on "Talk Philly" is the "Seinfeld" "Soup Nazi" himself Larry Thomas.

The actor is on a "No Soup for You" tour promoting the classic sitcom, which is on at 7:30 and 11 p.m. weekdays on CW Philly. Thomas' food truck will be stopped outside the station's studios at 16th and Hamilton.

Ducis Rodgers has been hired at 6ABC, replacing sports anchor Keith Russell, who left the station earlier this summer. Rodgers has been an anchor on ESPNews and previously worked at New York's WCBS.
