Sarah Palin's admirers are lashing out against HBO's Game Change, a political drama about the 2008 presidential campaign, saying it is a biased and malicious smear of the former Alaska governor and vice presidential candidate.

Sarah Palin's admirers are lashing out against HBO's Game Change, a political drama about the 2008 presidential campaign, saying it is a biased and malicious smear of the former Alaska governor and vice presidential candidate.

The film, which stars Julianne Moore as Palin, is an adaptation of the book by journos Mark Halperin and John Heilemann, which already has drawn fire from Palin's camp.

Trailers for the film show Palin, who ran for veep on John McCain's ticket, as a whiner who complains about her advisers and mumbles that she misses her kids. In one clip, campaign strategist Steve Schmidt (Woody Harrelson) says Palin is on the verge of a nervous breakdown.

Former Palin rep Meg Stapleton said neither she nor other Palin faithful were asked for their perspectives. "They don't want to hear anything good," she said. "We all know Palin sells and the dramatization of Palin sells even more. This is sick." She added, "They mock Gov. Palin . . . as weak and unable to cope and press forward." The film premieres March 10.

Kate Gosselin is lonely . . . but strong

"Do you have a love life?" TV star Dr. Drew Pinsky asked Kate Gosselin on his show Wednesday. "No. I'm too busy," says the proud Philadelphia native, who dumped that icky Jon Gosselin two years ago. Isn't she lonely? Doesn't she want to find a new mate? "Absolutely," says Kate. But she's also realistic about her chances of finding a dude who'll have her and her large family.

"The odds are so against me, one mom and eight kids," says Kate. "[But] it would be great. I mean, I'm so lonely. I clean up the house, put the kids to bed, and there I sit. Ideally I would find that person."

Manager sues 'Cougar Town' actor Miller

Cougar Town star Christa Miller's manager, Jill Littman, has filed a lawsuit in L.A. County Superior Court claiming her client failed to pay her fee after Littman helped her land a job on the show. Littman says Miller owes her 10 percent of her salary, which adds up to $198,187, says TMZ. Littman may have a hard time proving she's the reason Miller got the gig: After all, Miller is married to Cougar Town creator and head honcho Bill Lawrence

Steve Wynn vanquishes Joe Francis

Las Vegas mogul and Wharton alum Steve Wynn has won a defamation suit against Girls Gone Wild soft-porn peddler Joe Francis in a Clark County, Nev., court to the tune of $7.5 mil, says the Las Vegas Review-Journal. The ruling caps a four-year feud that erupted when Francis refused to pay $2 mil he owed to Wynn's casino. Wynn filed the suit after Francis claimed the Sin City mogul was ripping off his high-end customers.

Jen Aniston: It's the walk of shame!

Jennifer Aniston says it was sweet to get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. "It was pretty surreal," she told Conan O'Brien on his show.

"You get down and touch the ground," Jen said of putting her handprint on the wet cement. "But that shouldn't be called the walk of fame, it should be called the walk of shame - because you're on all fours on Hollywood Boulevard!" Conan, whose show just got renewed through 2014, said "that's how I got this job."

Jen Aniston: No 'Friends,' friends . . .

Jen, whose PR campaign for her new pic Wanderlust is so aggressive and robust you'd think she was trying to pull off another D-Day, tells MTV she will not fulfill one of her fans' greatest fantasies: There will never be a Friends reunion.

A silly stunt for a silly ceremony

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences denies a Deadline.com report that it has banned Sacha Baron Cohen from Sunday's Oscars because of rumors the Brit comic plans to come as the Saddam Hussein-ian dictator he plays in his Chaplin-esque political comedy The Dictator. Isn't the august academy afraid Cohen will soil its sacred gathering with his antics? "We're . . . waiting to hear what he's going to do," a rep tells the Hollywood Reporter.

A silly outfit for a royal ceremony

Helena Bonham Carter was decked out in a red tartan two-piece and a top hat for her outing Wednesday at Buckingham Palace, where she was awarded the high honor of Commander of the Order of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth II. Amber Riley: I'm healthy, thin

Glee star Amber Riley, who suffered debilitating stomach pain last summer, says she's much healthier now - and two dress sizes smaller.

"I decided I was going to make a change and eat healthier," Riley, 26, tells People. She says she stopped gorging on fast foods, which, she says, "were attacking my stomach." Riley says she's psyched about doing more red-carpet appearances. "I'm a lot more comfortable in dresses, especially gowns," she says.
