He writes rap songs and likes video games

Steven, who just celebrated his 13th birthday, loves writing rap songs and playing video games. Last summer he attended a camp where he had the opportunity to design his own video game and he is very proud of his accomplishment. Steven also has many other interests, including playing on his computer and eating. Currently he is enrolled in an acting class where he can channel some of his flair for drama. Steven is doing well in a school where he benefits from special education services.

Steven has experienced many losses and disappointments in his young life. His greatest wish is to have a permanent family. A family is very important to him. "You need someone to care about you," he says. He would love to have a family with a mom and a dad. A self-described "couch potato," Steven hopes to be adopted by a family with a calm, easygoing lifestyle. He would do well in a home where he is the youngest or only child. "If someone were to take me, that would be great," he says. "I'd just be happy, really, really happy.
