A stylish teen with two goals

Malaysia is a winsome 13-year-old with sparkling brown eyes. A typical teenager, she takes great pride in her hairstyles and appearance and is always looking for the latest fashionable attire. It's no surprise that shopping is one of her favorite pastimes. She also loves field hockey and lacrosse and has played both sports.

Malaysia gets along well with adults and her peers. Although she is somewhat shy and quiet when meeting new people, she soon opens up when the conversation turns to topics that interest her.

Enrolled in the seventh grade, Malaysia attends regular classes and earns good grades. Math is the subject she enjoys most. Malaysia would like to become a pediatrician. However, she has a more immediate goal - to be adopted.

Her ideal family would be a mom or two moms, she says. It's hoped she would be the only child in the family. She would thrive with a patient, loving family that would guide her through her teens and help her reach her potential. Malaysia is close to her brother and it is important that the contact be maintained.
