Inqlings: Weather reporter's new front

Action News weather alumna SallyAnn Mosey is starting a freelance arrangement with Fox29.

Mosey, who worked at 6ABC from 1998 to 2006 and later for WNBC in New York, was spotted yesterday at the Fox station, a week and a half after a meeting with management.

SAM's first fill-in date on the weather desk will be July 19, a station spokeswoman says.

Speaking of Action News, a public memorial has not been announced for sports director Gary Papa, who died Friday. Burial will be private.

Iguodala's 'people'?

Clayanna Warthen, the South Jersey woman seeking child support from Andre Iguodala, said the 76ers star's associates escalated the matter.

In an interview Friday, a day after attorney Richard Klein filed papers in a Camden County court, Warthen said that when she asked Iguodala for help during her pregnancy, he referred her to "his people, who basically sent me to welfare."

The baby girl, London, born May 7, had a problem with her tear ducts but is now healthy. "Every child deserves quality medical care, and it's appalling that she is [covered under] Medicaid and not able to pick and choose a physician," said Klein. He finds it odd that although Iguodala acknowledges paternity, he had not signed the birth certificate.

Warthen, who says she put off her law-school preparation during the pregnancy, also said that despite his lawyer's assertion that London has medical coverage through the NBA, she's seen no proof.

"It's not my goal to disparage him," says Warthen, who says they were a couple from October 2004 until last January. "Our relationship has more depth than some people have made it out to appear," she said. Another woman gave birth to Iguodala's son in 2007.

Warthen says Iguodala has seen London twice, "for maybe eight to 10 minutes at a time."

Iguodala's lawyer Charles Meyer declined to comment yesterday.

Briefly noted

Mayor Nutter will introduce tonight's invitation-only, sneak-peek screening of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen at the Pearl Theatre at Avenue North. Director Michael Bay used City Hall and Eastern State Penitentiary for filming last year.

Jose Rivera, formerly of WEMG, now handles 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Spanish language WUBA, heard at 1480 AM and at 106.1-2 on HD.

Home run

Pat English, who runs the Fleming's Prime Steakhouse in Radnor, went the extra mile. A customer who had made reservations for a dinner party Sunday night called to say that one of the guests was sick. Instead of dining at the restaurant, she would pick up the food. When she got home, she called to mention that a few of the frozen desserts had melted. English offered to drop off replacements, and after ringing the bell, realized that the sick guest was Ryan Howard.
