Charming, friendly, outgoing and talkative, Sean easily communicates his feelings. Like most teenagers, he is passionate about sports. The athletic 14-year-old enjoys watching and playing a variety of sports, including basketball and football. Some day he would like to play professional football. But if this isn't possible, he might join the Army or indulge his love of animals by becoming a veterinarian.
Enrolled in eighth grade, Sean is an excellent student and a fluent reader with strong comprehension skills. Although math is his favorite subject, he is interested in social studies, especially when the topics are current and world news events.
Sean has experienced many transitions and losses over the years. However, through counseling and the diligent efforts of his foster parents, he is making significant progress in overcoming behavioral and emotional challenges resulting from past trauma. Sean enjoys being part of a family and wants very much to be adopted. He would do well in a family - a couple or a single male or female - that is loving, patient, and committed to helping him reach his potential. He is eligible for financial subsidy.
Sean and other children are available for adoption by approved applicants. For a free information packet contact the National Adoption Center,
