St. Joseph's University awarded grant for entrepreneurship training

St. Joseph's University has been awarded a $50,000 grant from the  U.S. Small Business Administration for its entrepreneurship training program for disabled veterans.

It is one of four recipients of the SBA's Service Disabled Veteran Entrepreneurship Training Program grant. The others are programs in New York, Oklahoma and Washington.

The St. Joe's program, free to eligible veterans, involves three phases ­-- online classes, a seven-day on-campus instruction, and at least six months of mentoring.
