Input sought for new school superintendent

LEVITTOWN The Bristol Township School District is seeking community input through an online survey as it searches for a new superintendent.

The district will post a link to the survey on its website's home page, www.btsd.us, on Thursday from 9 to 11:59 p.m. Paper copies will also be available at the district's administration building on Mill Creek Road.

The survey will take about 10 minutes, and responses will be anonymous and kept confidential. Questions are to focus on what residents think are the district's challenges and what personal attributes they'd like to see in the new head of schools.

The district recently lost its superintendent of the last five years, Samuel Lee, to Bensalem.

"The search for Dr. Lee's replacement will be deliberate, exhaustive, and focused on the continued advancement of Bristol Township schools," the district said in a statement last month. - Ben Finley
