Move-in day is Wednesday
at Villanova University
VILLANOVA Move-in day at Villanova University will be Wednesday, when about 1,600 new freshmen in the Class of 2018 will arrive for the start of the fall semester.
The new students are scheduled to be greeted by resident advisers and orientation counselors at Stanford Hall on South Ithan Avenue from 11 a.m. to about 12:30 p.m. to help them and their families unload any boxes, bags, bed linens, and buckets they brought for the coming year.
On Thursday, there will be an orientation meeting for both students and parents. An opening Mass will be said at the Campus Green, or, in case of rain, at the Pavilion. A picnic diner will follow. Student orientation will continue until Sunday. - Mari A. Schaefer
