Truck Stop: Surf and Turf Truck

Its name is what it’s all about. Steak and seafood. On wheels. At LOVE Park.

What to eat: Its name is what it's all about. Steak and seafood. On wheels. At LOVE Park. Zagat calls the lobster roll ($12) a must-try in Philadelphia. But don't forget the bacon, lobster and tomato B.L.T. ($12), pulled-pork sandwich ($8), lobster bisque ($7) and the salmon burger ($8), which owner Adam Browne says "people go nuts over." Hey, Adam, where's the truck headed next? We'll just follow you.

Don't miss: Rosemary marinated steak sandwich ($10) with kale, melted Parmesan and tomato. There are lots of great cheese steaks in Philly, but this is freakin' delicious. We wish we were eating it right now. Browne also makes a sandwich with steak and buttered lobster that is $19 and probably worth every penny.

Story: Browne, 42, has been in the food business since he was about 13, working everywhere from New York City to Los Angeles. He opened the Surf and Turf Truck last spring, taking the increasingly crowded food-truck scene by storm. "I wanted to do something sandwich-related, high end, and just a bit different," Browne said. They also cater parties, weddings and business events.

Where to find it: We caught up with Browne at LOVE Park last week, but find his truck's upcoming locations by checking @Surfturftruck on Twitter, "Surf and Turf Truck" on Facebook or the truck's website, surfandturftruck.com.
