Naming a new veterans housing development for fallen hero Lural Lee Blevins is appropriate, but not enough, say the men who served with him and say his heroics saved the lives of other American soldiers. Blevins former commanding officer, Lt. Charles Newhall, submitted his name for the Congressional Medal of Honor, after Blevins, was killed in Vietnam on Aug. 16, 1968. But the papers disappeared. His comrades say he should be awarded the medal.
