Fed Up Scary and effective documentary about the nation's obesity crisis, the food industry's complicity, and what can be done about it. Narrated by Katie Couric. Leave your nachos at the concession stand. PG

For No Good Reason A dangling-spider's-eye view of English artist and cartoonist Ralph Steadman at work, with Johnny Depp paying a call, and with candid footage of Steadman mulling things over with Hunter S. Thompson, the gonzo journo whose bursts of wild prose were famously illustrated by Steadman in 1972's Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas. Terry Gilliam and William S. Burroughs also appear. R

Locke A tour de force, and a tour down British motorways in the dead of night, with Tom Hardy as a man in a car, on his Bluetooth, trying to keep the pieces of his life from flying apart. From writer/director Steven Knight. R
