Steve & Mia: She's leaving home, but will her enormous breasts go with her?

Q: My 16-year-old has a small frame and is of average height. Everything about her is in proportion, except for one thing. She has enormous breasts.

Sometimes she looks like she's going to topple forward. The last time I took her for a bra fitting, she wore a size 44DD. What's more, she's completely oblivious to how she looks. I'm trying to get her to wear jackets over her T-shirts, and to show her other ways that her clothing could downplay her chest, but it's not sinking in.

She's off to college next year and for a graduation gift, I'm thinking of getting her breast reduction surgery. We could schedule it for next summer.

What do you think?

Mia: Jeesh, back off the girl's chest. If she's happy with her body, let her be. Don't bring up the topic of reduction surgery unless she does first.

Steve: Everyone is self-conscious about their bodies. Making a big deal about a daughter's chest size, whether large or small, doesn't help her at all.

Q: I am a single senior and have the qualities it takes to provide security and comfort for the right lady. Websites don't do it for me. I would like some insight as to any upcoming events where attractive and real ladies will be. Yes, I'm looking for that special lady that is looking for that special man. By the way, I am colorblind.

Mia: Unless you want to run the risk of being the old dude at the club, I suggest you look elsewhere. Start with the local churches. I haven't been to one yet that hasn't been packed with women, many of them single. Go to a service and hang out afterward. You never know who you might meet. Good luck.

Steve: Churches are good, and so are clubs that pursue interests you share, such as books, cooking or movies. The more activities you pursue, the greater your chances of meeting Ms. Right.
