Don't call Paris Hilton a reality star. She's a mogul!

Paris: Serious mogul

Synonymous for years with trashy reality TV, Paris Hilton has remade herself in the image of her Hilton forebears as a bona fide mogul.

"I have really grown past that," Hilton, 35, tells Harper's Bazaar of her old life. "Now, I mostly focus on . . . my brand rather than everything else that comes with the reality star kind of life."

Hilton has an impressive portfolio "that includes 35 eponymous boutiques, three hotels and 20 fragrances in addition to her manufacturing empire, which produces everything from accessories and handbags to cosmetics and children's wear," says USA Today.

Hilton does take some pride in the old days. "No one had ever been paid to go to a party," Hilton says. "I was the first one to kind of invent that in Las Vegas at 20 years old."

'Manchester' tops SAGs

Manchester by the Sea on Wednesday received a leading four Screen Actors Guild Award nominations, including for best cast. Star Casey Affleck got a nod for best lead actor.

Other best cast nods went to Fences and Moonlight, which got three nods each, as well as to Captain Fantastic and Hidden Figures. They received two each.

'AGT' star for Trump

Former America's Got Talent contestant Jackie Evancho, 16, will perform the national anthem at President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration on Jan. 20. "I am so excited. It's going to be awesome," she said on the Today show.
