Updating 'Where Is the Love'

The Black Eyed Peas wrote their hit "Where Is the Love" in response to the 9/11 attacks.

Given the tragedies that have plagued the world of late, the band has updated the tune.

"I remember when the attack in Paris happened, people would say, 'We need 'Where Is the Love?' again,' " BEP leader will.i.am says in a vid post.

"And then Belgium happened, and then Turkey, and then Orlando, and then Philando [Castile], and then Alton [Sterling] before him, and then Dallas. Everyone was calling on us like, 'We need that song again.' "

The recording features a raft of new and returning guest voices, including Justin Timberlake, Kendall Jenner, Mary J. Blige, Diddy, DJ Khaled, Quincy Jones, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Lance Bass, Randy Jackson, Wilmer Valderrama, Wiz Khalifa, and LL Cool J. Revenue from the song will be donated to will.i.am's charity org, the i.am.angel foundation.
