Open house at Prince's place

Prince's stately mansion and studio complex will open for public tours beginning Oct. 6, the trust overseeing the late pop star's estate has announced. Named after the star's 1985 song, Paisley Park is in the Minneapolis suburb of Chanhassen. It was the center of Prince's creative endeavors.

"Opening Paisley Park is something that Prince always wanted to do and was actively working on," his sister, Tyka Nelson, said in a statement.

The tours will be overseen by Graceland Holdings, which has been in charge of Elvis Presley's Graceland since 1982.

Highest-paid thesp: The Rock

Hollywood's highest paid actor is action hero Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, according to a new list of top-paid male and female actors released by Forbes.

The former pro wrestler, whose megahits include the Fast & Furious franchise and San Andreas, made $64.5 mil in the last year, the mag says.

Last year's top man, Robert Downey Jr., slid to eighth place with a meager $33 million. The Rock is followed by Jackie Chan ($61 mil), Matt Damon ($55 mil), and Tom Cruise ($53 mil).

The list again illustrates the income gap between men and women: Top female earner Jennifer Lawrence made $46 million, about 71 percent of the Rock's pay.

Overall, eight men made more than $20 million, compared to just four women. The other three leading-money ladies: Melissa McCarthy ($33 mil), Scarlett Johansson ($25 mil) and Jennifer Aniston ($21 mil).
