Doherty, 45, tells the The Dr. Oz Show that if necessary, she has no qualms about undergoing a mastectomy.
"Ultimately, they're just breasts, right?" she says. "I mean, I love them. . . . But in the grand scheme of things, I would rather be alive, and I would rather grow old with my husband." Doherty married third hub, Kurt Iswarienko, in October 2011.
A diverging 'Divergent' finale
The fourth and final installment in the Divergent film series is due June 9. But don't look for it at your local multiplex: It'll run on TV.
Variety says the TV movie may be used to introduce a TV series. Based on Veronica Roth's dystopian novels, the films have starred Shailene Woodley, Theo James, and Zoë Kravitz. But it's not known whether the core cast will return for the TV movie - or for a spinoff show.
