Hef's wife sans implants

Crystal Hefner, the 30-year-old wife of sprightly 90-year-old Playboy founder Hugh Hefner, reveals that she has had her breast implants removed.

Installed eight years ago, the bosom enhancers had been "slowly poisoning her" and causing debilitating illnesses, Crystal, a model, singer, and DJ writes on Facebook.

For years, she writes, she was bedevilled by aches, bladder pain, and fatigue. She became allergic to certain foods and had thyroid problems.

"The fatigue was so severe, that I could barely leave the house or drive," she writes. Crystal also says she believes her implants may be at the root of her Lyme disease.

The day after her surgery, she says, "Instantly I noticed my neck and shoulder pain was gone and I could breathe much better."

Now a self-described "implant illness activist," Crystal says she'll keep us informed about her recovery.

Miranda Kerr 'n' Snapchat

Sure, everyone uses Snapchat. It's fun.

But when Miranda Kerr spins up the app, it's a serious act of love: The Aussie-born model and Victoria's Secret Angel has become engaged to Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel, 26, after a year of dating.

In an odd move, Kerr announced the news not on her billionaire beau's app but via Instagram.

"I said yes!" Kerr writes.
