Book about Kardashians

Ian Halperin, who has written investigative bios of Michael Jackson and Celin Dion, will release his latest potboiler, Kardashian Dynasty, on Tuesday.

The author on Friday told USA Today that Kris Jenner was actively involved in the release of daughter Kim Kardashian's sex tape by a porn company. The vid made Kim a household name and helped launch the family's multimillion-dollar media empire.

Halperin also says Kris was not the least bit surprised when ex-hub Bruce Jenner came out as a transgender woman. "[Kris] had known for years. Bruce was dressing in women's clothes," the author said. "But she was madly in love with him."
