Sideshow: Sandra Bullock's new beau

Undefeated UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey will take a South Jersey man to the Marine Corps Ball om Dec. 11 after accepting his invitation over social media.

Sandra Bullock's new beau

Sandra Bullock, 51, is dating a dude named Bryan Randall, People asserts. A model and a photographer, Bryan, 49, recently shared a cozy dinner with the Oscar-winning actor in L.A. "He had his arm around her the entire meal," Anonymous Source tells the mag. Seems Bryan was Sandra's date at Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux' surprise Aug. 5 wedding.

N.J. Marine wins a date

Undefeated UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey will take a South Jersey man to the Marine Corps Ball om Dec. 11 after accepting his invitation over social media.

Jarrod Haschet, 22, posted an invite to his Facebook page last month, calling Rousey, 28, a "phenomenal person" who happens to be his "celebrity crush." It has since been viewed more than 5 million times, and at least one of those came from Rousey herself.

She accepted Haschet's invitation Tuesday, telling TMZ her schedule is free in December because her forthcoming fight was moved up to November. She also indicated she's "not a first-date kind of girl," and asked that Haschet also find dates to the ball for three of her friends.

Haschet, a New Jersey native based out of Camp Lejeune in North Carolina, was understandably psyched. "Oh my God, no way," Haschet said when TMZ told him. About her request to find dates for her friends, he said: "I'm pretty sure I could do that."

Enjoy your night, Marine. And watch out for that armbar submission - Rousey's got it on lock.

It's over for Avril, Chad

Avril Lavigne and her husband, Nickelback front man Chad Kroeger, are the latest casualties of the divorce plague spreading this year in celebdom. The couple, who wed in July 2013, have separated. They vow to be nice to each other. "Through not only the marriage, but the music as well, we've created many unforgettable moments," Lavigne wrote with questionable grammar in an Instagram message Wednesday.

"We are still, and forever will be, the best of friends, and will always care deeply for each other."

Though she's only 30, Lavigne already has gone through one divorce. She wed Sum 41 vocalist Deryck Whibley in July 2006 and filed for divorce in October 2009.
