In federal court Thursday in Newark, N.J., Joe was sentenced to 41 months in prison for wire and bankruptcy fraud. Teresa got 15 months. She will serve her term first, and then Joe will serve, so there'll always be a parent to care for their children, Gia, 13; Gabriella, 9; Milania, 8; and Audriana, 5. Joe, an Italian national who never became a U.S. citizen, may also be deported, but Judge Esther Salas reserved that decision for later.
