Sideshow: Dustin Hoffman 'cured' of throat cancer

Tootsie and Midnight Cowboy star Dustin Hoffman, 75, has successfully been treated for throat cancer, his rep Jodi Gottlieb tells People. "It was detected early, and he has been surgically cured," she says. "Dustin is feeling great and is in good health." She refused to elaborate. Dustin's fellow thesp Michael Douglas waged a successful battle with throat cancer in 2010.
