All the principals in the Simon Cowell-Lauren Silverman-Andrew Silverman love (or merely lust, it's unclear) triangle are keeping schtum about the sordid affair that reportedly has left Lauren 10 weeks pregnant with Simon's child . . . and Andrew, 37, foaming at the mouth.

Simon, 53, didn't find out Lauren, 36, was pregnant until July 10, the New York Post and New York Daily News report. He was then hit with news that Andrew named him as a co-respondent in divorce papers he filed in Manhattan Supreme Court on July 15. Andrew's petition cites that dread scarlet-letter word, adultery.

If the case reaches court, Simon may have to testify about the affair. More terrifying still, he would have to reveal his finances. He's said to be worth $350 mil.

Simon's mum, Julie, 87, didn't confirm the pregnancy, but she did tell London tabloid the Sun, "He'll make a fantastic father. He'll be great."

Epic love story or ugly mess?

Reports indicate Cowell's relationship with Lauren Silverman isn't exactly the stuff of epic poems.

"The pregnancy has taken him by surprise," Unnamed Simon Insider tells the New York Daily News. "He assumed she was using birth control." (Too much info?)

Adds the USI, "Simon thought this was a casual relationship - friends with benefits. . . . He is feeling tricked." Another Unnamed Insider claims Lauren is an opportunist, a gold-digger, a predator who "has a thing for rich, powerful men."

Not so, Lauren's mum, Carole Eisenberg, tells the News. "My daughter is a wonderful girl and a wonderful mother."

The Estefans' love story to Broadway

Love of another kind - reciprocated, long-term - has united Gloria and Emilio Estefan with such ecstatic power the couple plan to bring their life story to the Broadway stage as a musical, Gloria, 55, tells AARP mag. This is no pipe dream: Jennifer Lopez, Thalia, and other hot stars are reportedly competing for the role of Gloria. "There are so many story lines. It's a universal story, it's an immigrant story, and it's a love story," Gloria tells the mag.

Gloria and Emilio, married for 35 years, are Cuban refugees who arrived in America with nothing but what they had on their backs. They've done well: Their estimated net worth is $700 mil.

Says Gloria, "In the United States, if you believe in yourself and you're determined and persevere, you're going to succeed."

Kate resists pressure about Royal Baby

In a shocking break from centuries of British tradition, Kate Middleton and hub Prince William are not raising their son - and future British king - George at the palace! The Couple and Princely Baby have made themselves all snug as a rug at Kate's parents' cozy house in Bucklebury.

Kate "has sent a clear message to her royal in-laws: William and I are doing this our way," royal expert Patrick Jephson tells People. Jephson, 57, was Princess Diana's private secretary from '88 to '96.

Kate + Princes Harry 'n' William

"Prince William and Prince Harry actually stayed in our house in Colorado when we were kids," Kate Hudson tells Jay Leno. The trio didn't get to play Twister: Kate was in Los Angeles with mom Goldie Hawn. Her stepdad, Kurt Russell, played host. Prince William, he told Kate, is "a really well-raised boy."

Randy Travis on the mend

Nearly a month after he was hospitalized for a viral heart infection on July 7, Randy Travis, 54, has been released from Baylor Heart and Vascular Hospital in Plano, Texas, and moved to a nearby physical therapy facility. The country star also is recovering from a stroke he suffered in the hospital on July 10.

"Thanks to all the fans and friends for your continued prayers and support as Randy continues on the road to recovery," his fiancée, Mary Davis, says. Updates will be posted at www.randytravis.com.

Bynes' pain is no joking matter

Nick Cannon, 32, says reporters have been driving him crazy with their incessant questions about his friend Amanda Bynes, who remains in a psychiatric ward.

He brushed it off for a while. Now, he's angry. "I see this as no laughing matter," Cannon writes on his website (www.nickcannon.com). "I tweeted a few weeks about how the entertainment industry just consumes people and spits them out like flavorless bubble gum. A few chews of enjoyment, then they're under a city bus bench."

Adds Cannon, "Whether it's fame, money, sex, drugs, attention. It's all a dangerous addiction."
