Jennifer Lopez, 42, shocked fans this week when she said she wasn't sure she would stay on at American Idol. To some, it felt like a betrayal of all they held good, sacred, and true.

Alas, E! News' Mark Malkin says J-Lo already has decided to ditch the show. "She's just too busy," Anonymous Source says, noting that the singer is due to go on a months-long world tour with Enrique Iglesias.

J-Lo has yet to confirm or deny the report.

She does tell E! she feels conflicted.

"It is just like any working mom's dilemma," says Her Lo-Ness. "It's tough. It's a balancing act. You put [your kids] first and then you have all these other things that you have to do ... and you have to make sure that they're OK in the process."

While Fox won't comment, Idol producer Nigel Lythgoe says he wants J-Lo back.

Quote du jour: Tyra on modeling

"If I was just starting to model at age 17 in 2012," says Tyra Banks in an open letter to models, "I could not have had the career that I did. I would've been considered too heavy."

Tidbits 'n' pieces

Prince Harry has revealed a painful fact about his personal life: His gran, Queen Elizabeth II, has not "friended" him on Facebook, the royal lad tells Katie Couric. ... Louisiana coroner John Fraiche says preliminary results from an autopsy suggest Mitchell Guist died of natural causes. Guist, 47, a popular star on the History Channel's Swamp People, died Monday of an apparent heart attack.

Kourtney kicks Disick to the curb?

Life & Style Weekly claims Kourtney Kardashian, who is expecting her second baby with Scott Disick, has chucked him out of their L.A. home — at least until she's due. Seems Scott is partying and carrying on — and apparently holding on to a secret cache of sex tapes! He missed KK's baby shower and spends most of his time across the continent, running his New York eatery, Ryu. Oh, my.

Kevin Costner on Whitney, on prayer

Whitney Houston's The Bodyguard costar Kevin Costner says he and the late diva had a lot to talk about when it came to their childhoods. They were both raised in strict Baptist homes, he said at Houston's funeral. He spoke "about what was real between Whitney and me," Costner tells Parade, "being in church when we were little, both getting in trouble, about our not wanting to be preachers."

Costner, 57, says he still prays. "Yes, because I realize I have been very lucky," he says. "I feel that there has been a hand over my life. I haven't lived a perfect life. I have regrets." The father of seven says that most of all he prays he lives long enough to see his children grow up.

$4 mil worth of Taylor Swift's love

Taylor Swift, 22, doesn't skimp when it comes to Giving Back. The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum said Thursday it had received a $4 mil donation from the "Teardrops on My Guitar" singer. E! News says the cash will be used to erect the Taylor Swift Education Center, with exhibition space and classroom facilities.

Chesney: 300 push-ups in 10 mins!

Swift's fellow country star Kenny Chesney, 44, says he needs to keep fit if he wants to survive the two-hour shows he'll be performing on his summer tour. (He'll hit Philly's Lincoln Financial Field on June 16.)

"You think you're sprinting on this treadmill," he tells Men's Health, gesturing to the exercise machine. "When I'm up there it's like I'm at a constant sprint at a 15 level. But the thing you have onstage that you don't have in the gym is adrenaline."

K.C., who says he can do 300 push-ups in 10 minutes, treats his body like a temple — or at least a well-oiled Hummer. "I've never abused my body with drugs. I've never smoked," he says. But he won't say no to the occasional beer. "You can't spend 19 years on the road and not have a few drinks."

Brand-Perry: Love isn't enough

"I still love her as a human being." Thus British comic Russell Brand damns Katy Perry with faint praise in a chat with daytime gab show host Ellen DeGeneres. Brand vowed he'd be hers forever in a traditional Hindu ceremony in India in October 2010, then filed for divorce after 14 months. Love, he says, ain't enough. "Sometimes when you're in a relationship I suppose it doesn't work out, does it? But that doesn't mean I regret it or anything. I was very happy to be married with her. She's such a beautiful human being and I just have only love and positivity for her."

Matthew, Channing, bare it all

Matthew McConaughey tells the Advocate he didn't use a derriere double for his striptease scenes in the male-stripper pic Magic Mike. It took time for him to feel comfortable taking it all off. "At first it was scary as [heck]," he says, "but then it became like a drug and I couldn't wait to do it again."

Costar Channing Tatum, a stripper turned actor whose story is told in the Steven Soderbergh dramedy, admits the film is, like, wall-to-wall male nudity, but insists, "We didn't make it specifically for the gay community or the chick community." He challenges straight dudes to see it. "This is supposed to be hilarious. And if guys don't get that, they're just insecure."
