Paul Davies has been the deputy editor of the Editorial Page since November 2007. Before that he worked at The Wall Street Journal, where he covered white collar crime and before that worked on the health and science desk. He spent seven years at the Philadelphia Daily News, where he was on an investigative team and was a finalist for the Gerald Loeb Award. Davies has worked at newspapers in Connecticut, Florida and Maryland. He began his career as a stringer for The Inquirer. Davies graduated from the University of Delaware and received a masters in journalism from Columbia University, where he was also a Knight-Bagehot Fellow. He teaches journalism part-time at Temple University. Davies was born in Philadelphia and still lives in the city.
