'Project Runway' winner gets Marie Claire spread

HAVE YOU picked up your copy of Marie Claire? Philly's own "Project Runway" victor, Dom Streater, is featured in the January issue, which is making its way to subscribers and newsstands.

Streater, who graduated from Moore College of Art and Design, won the spread in Marie Claire, along with $150,000 from GoBank, a $100,000 fabric allowance from Tide, a Lexus and much more, in her "Project Runway" victory in October. The spread features dresses and suits with big bold prints in warm colors and whites.

* Streater isn't the only Philly girl with glossy aspirations. Beth Behrs of "2 Broke Girls," who spent her formative years in Lancaster, is the current cover girl of Philadelphia Style magazine. She'll be in town Thursday for the 'zine's regular party at Trust. Behrs' character on the CBS comedy is a former rich kid with a degree from Penn's Wharton School.

What are a few of the Flyers' favorite things? The Flyers Charities Players Favorite Things Basket Auction will take place at today's game against the Washington Capitals. So what can you expect if you bid on baskets from your fave Flyers? Jakub Voracek is offering dinner at Rittenhouse steak joint Barclay Prime, Kimmo Timonen is offering up autographed 2010 Olympic Gloves and Claude Giroux is giving away a game-used autographed stick.

* In other Flyers news, Hartnelldown, a children's book written by Scott Hartnell and his sister Kyla, is hot off the presses. Proceeds from the $19 book will go to benefit Hartnell's namesake foundation. Order it at shop.hartnelldown.com.

One of the charities allegedly duped by former sportscaster Don Tollefson, Louie's Voice, will hold its third annual toy drive at SugarHouse Casino (1001 N. Delaware Ave.) from 7 to 10 tonight.

Louie's Voice, which supports families dealing with autism, bought tickets to the 2014 U.S. Open from Tollefson and planned to resell them to support the charity's efforts (founder Lou Berman is a single father to a severely autistic son) but never received them.

Notable names expected at the event include former 49ers linebacker Lee Woodall.

* Heidi Hamels spoke at the winter graduation ceremony at West Chester University on Sunday. Hamels, who has a master's degree from the school, gave her speech with hubby Cole Hamels sitting in the front row.

* Princess Ann Banton-Lofters, the creator of the oh-so-amazing "Real Housewives of Atlanta," stopped by Anthony Henderson's Evening of Pearl event Friday to benefit domestic-violence awareness and autism awareness. Joining Banton-Lofters were domestic-violence activist and media personality MoShay LaRen; Terri Matthews, founder of Jaden's Voice; media personality Envy McKee; and actress and television correspondent Kharisma McIlwaine, among other notables.

Congratulations to local Quizzo maestro Johnny Goodtimes, who became a first-time father to little Avery Goodtimes. Mom Colby Goodtimes is doing great. It's a big year for Goodtimes, who, along with his nightly Quizzo-hosting duties at various bars around the city, just became part-owner of throwback-apparel shop Pro League Authentics (137 S. 13th St.).
