Bluebird Distilling to open tasting room in Center City

Phoenixville’s Bluebird Distilling will open its tasting room and retail store with comp whiskey and craft-spirits tastings from noon to 7 p.m. Friday, June 23 at the Shops at Liberty Place, on the 17th Street side.

Jared Adkins’ product line includes Four Grain Bourbon, Rye Whiskey, Juniperus Gin, and Sugarcane Rum. After June 23, three-spirit tastings will cost $5 and six-spirit tastings, $8. The cost of tastings will be applied to any bottle purchased.

Meanwhile, Bluebird will mark its second anniversary on Sunday, June 25 with a party from noon to 6 p.m. at its Phoenixville location (100 Bridge St.) that will feature an outdoor rum bar, comp tastings, food trucks, and outdoor games. This also will coincide with the release of Bluebird’s single-malt.
