One thing to watch: Eagles' offensive line

The key to victory might be right up front.

In an opener, just about everything that happens is noted, but in terms of figuring out how the day is going to go for the Eagles, my focus is on the offensive line.

Washington sacked Carson Wentz nine times in last year's two meetings, with suspended Lane Johnson unable to play in either. There were other matchups the Eagles lost in dropping both games against the Redskins, but to me, this was the crucial one. Everybody is healthy now and the Birds are supposed to have one of the best offensive lines in the NFL, against a really good defense, even if it is missing injured starters Phil Taylor and Trent Murphy.

That touted Eagles o-line didn't really come together so well in limited preseason work, either run blocking or protecting Wentz, but everyone involved has been telling us they'll be fine today. We'll see.
