Hello there In November 2009, the Rochester (Mich.) Symphony Orchestra hired Joanna to play Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto. She grew up in Elkins Park and Blue Bell, studied at Juilliard, and was in year three of a postgraduate fellowship at Carnegie Hall, performing chamber music around the city and elsewhere.
