DETROIT – Richaun Holmes is no longer wearing a brace on his left wrist.

The 76ers reserve center fractured the wrist in the third quarter of a preseason game against the Boston Celtics on Oct. 6. At the time, the Sixers said he would be re-evaluated in three weeks. Friday will mark three weeks since Holmes' injury.

Late Monday, Holmes reiterated that he's supposed to get re-evaluated sometime this week.

"Hopefully, I get cleared and hopefully ready to play," he said.

Holmes has been participating in shooting, dribbling and layup drills.

"Everything is pretty normal," he said Monday night. "I just got to get back to taking contact. That's kind of the last step. Then I'll be ready to go."

Holmes suffered the injury while being fouled at the rim by Celtics center Aron Baynes.
