By dragging a beach chair out onto the closed Island Beach Park and plunking his hefty, shorts-encased backside onto it, it as was if Gov. Chris Christie gave us all the middle finger. It was an insult to the entire state of New Jersey and anyone else who enjoys hanging out on its beaches.
Ronald Crawford fully expected that neighborhood residents would start flooding the counseling offices for Stop and Surrender Inc. after that graduation party shooting where 10 people were shot last month. Those offices, which offer drug and alcohol counseling as well as crisis intervention, anger management programs and other mental health services, are just blocks away from where the graduation party took place at 23rd and Huntingdon streets in North Philly. When that didn't happen, Crawford went on Facebook to grouse about it. That's when a counseling colleague pointed out, if the patients didn't come to him, then he should go to them.
