Justin Timberlake's polling place selfie not NSYNC with Tennessee voting laws
Also in Tattle: Rihanna dancer, David Bowie, Kendall Jenner, Shark Tank
Justin Timberlake said bye, bye, bye to California and flew to Tennessee in order to vote early-let's face it, they don't need his vote in California-and then he took a selfie at the ballot box.
Dear millennials: That's a no no.
Even though you're accustomed to documenting your every move, funny face, acquaintance and overstuffed sandwich as one of thousands of pictures on your phones, in Tennessee you're not allowed to take a photo (or video) inside a polling location.
It's against the law. At least in Tennessee.
In posting his voting pic to Instagram Monday, Justin was only trying spark turnout. "No excuses, my good people!" he wrote.
Tennessee Secretary of State spokesman Adam Ghassemi says officials are "thrilled Justin can't stop the feeling" but reminded voters to use their phones inside polling locations only to help them vote.
Rihanna dancer found
Shirlene Quigley, a former backup dancer for Missy Elliot, Beyonce and Rihanna, has been found somewhere in North Jersey, according to TMZ.com.
She was unharmed but is getting medical help at an undisclosed facility.
Quigley, 32, was reported missing Monday and her celeb pals put the word out. Rihanna posted an emotional plea for info leading to her whereabouts.
"This beautiful soul, and former dancer of mine is MISSING!!! My heart aches thinking of how heavy this is on all who love her!," Rihanna posted on Instagram, along with a video of Quigley.
TATTBITS
* The Seattle Times says that tribute band BowieVision is trying to set a Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of people dressed like David Bowie.
If you've got the money and time to travel cross country, arrive at the Showbox in Seattle around 6:30 p.m. (Pacific time) and makeup artists and stylists will be there to transform you into Ziggy Stardust, or any other Bowie persona.
"We said we'd do a Bowie costume concert, and it occurred to me to find out what the record for 'most people dressed as David Bowie at once' and there was no record," BowieVision manager/drummer Jeff Mosier said.
"I filled out an application with The Guinness Book of World Records and two months later, I heard back from them. Trying to organize this thing, and keep up with all the rules and regulations is like trying to organize a moon landing," Mosier said.
If you're a drummer. At NASA they say landing on the moon is like trying to organize a few hundred people dressed like Bowie.
The band needs at least 250 Bowies at "The Night of A Thousand Bowies" in order to create a world record event, Mosier said.
* A Los Angeles jury has acquitted 25-year-old Shavaughn McKenzie of stalking Kendall Jenner but convicted him of trespassing at her (not so) secluded Hollywood Hills home.
The jury of seven women and five men returned the verdict after a seven-day trial in which Kendall described her fear at finding McKenzie lurking in her driveway and banging on her car window in August.
A prosecutor said McKenzie tracked the whereabouts of Kendall for 15 months before his arrest on Aug. 14 outside her home.
McKenzie's attorney contended his client is mentally ill, posed no risk to Kendall and only wanted to talk to her.
* Philadelphia entrepreneurs Kelly and Jorrae Beard are taking a swim in the Shark Tank.
The sisters will pitch their line of sauces on ABC's popular product investment show Friday night at 9 p.m.
According to the Philadelphia Tribune, Joyce's LuLu Bang sauce was developed by Jorrae around five years ago and named for the sisters' late mother and brother.
The sauce comes in four flavors: Asian Persuasion, BBQ Fusion, Bourbon Marinade and It's Just HOT.
The Beards tried out for Shark Tank to help grow their brand, which has grown from a kitchen-business to a sauce company sold in 200 area Walmarts. The next step is to grow Joyce's Lulu Bang into a nationally-known line of sauces.
Kelly told the Tribune that the experience on Shark Tank was a game-changer.
So if you're interested in purchasing a bottle of Joyce's Lulu Bang sauce, or want to attend a Shark Tank viewing party Friday, go to JoycesLuluBang.com. If past appearances on Shark Tank are an indication, when the show airs, all four flavors are going to be HOT.
