Damon Feldman, the local promoter who's known as the "16-Minute Man" for giving non-A-list celebrities their 16th minute of fame in the boxing ring, has a new event in the works that has him moving from fat lips to enhanced lips.

Feldman is working with aesthetician Bridget Kelly, cosmetic surgeon Dr. Steven Davis, Lou Pizarro of EGA Productions (Operation Repo) and cosmetic surgeon Dr. Jason Bloom to put together the first ever "Battle of the Plastic Surgeons."

Imagine it: Eight surgeons compete in 16-minute rounds to see who can perform the best lip enhancements.

First round: Eight doctors, eight women. Doctors who perform the top four lip procedures move on to round two in which they'll get another 16 minutes to work on four new women. The top two move on from there to the finals to crown our champion.

Philadelphia will be the first city to participate, with the hope of plumping lips around the country to name a national champion.

If you're a plastic surgeon who seeks to expose your lip enhancement skills to a TV audience, or you're someone willing to turn your lip enhancement into a spectator sport, email Surgeonbattle@gmail.com.

Excitement will be injected into the event at the kickoff press conference tentatively set for Nov. 15.

Lawsuit goes to 11

Comedian Harry Shearer (The Simpsons) has sued French film studio Vivendi for tens of millions of dollars in profits he claims he and his cocreators are owed for creating This Is Spinal Tap.

Shearer's lawsuit, filed Monday in Los Angeles, claims Vivendi and its subsidiary StudioCanal withheld profits from the film, its music and its merchandise.

Shearer released a two-minute video on Twitter announcing the lawsuit, urging people to share it with #fairnessrocks.

Shearer cocreated the satire about a British rock band on the decline, which was made for $2.25 million, the lawsuit said. The suit seeks $125 million.

According to the suit, Vivendi told Shearer and his cocreators that their share of merchandise between the 1984 release of the film and 2013 was $81 and their share of profits on songs such as "Sex Farm" and "Stonehenge" was $98.

That's $179 whole dollars.

The band included Shearer, Christopher Guest and Michael McKean, who were later joined by Rob Reiner to create the film and its music. Guest, McKean and Reiner are not plaintiffs in the suit filed by Shearer's Century of Progress Productions. Vivendi declined comment.

Shearer is also asking a judge to award him trademarks to the band name Spinal Tap and his character's name, Derek Smalls.

Rock Hall nominees

It's that special time of year again, when the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announces its new nominess, and Tattle goes "Huh?"

The late Tupac Shakur and Seattle-based rockers Pearl Jam are among the first-time nominees on the ballot for induction next year.

Tupac? Is this the Tupac and Roll Hall of Fame?

Results will be announced in December. Induction is next April.

Another first-time nominee is Journey. Will the Hall welcome them with "Open Arms"?

Other first-time nominees: Bad Brains, Depeche Mode, Electric Light Orchestra, Lollapalooza instigators Jane's Addiction, Joan Baez and Steppenwolf.

Chic are on the ballot for the 11th time. But not getting the hint.

Other returning nominees include Janet Jackson, former Rufus frontwoman Chaka Khan, J. Geils Band, the late Joe Tex, Kraftwerk, MC5, The Cars, the Zombies and Yes.

To be eligible, all of the nominees had to have released their first recording no later than 1991. The public also will be invited to vote online among the nominees, with their top five selections cast as a "fan's ballot."

Tattle picks Pearl Jam. That's it. Just Pearl Jam.

Yes, E.L.O. and The Cars had nice runs, but it should take more to make the Hall. Mark Teixeira may not make the Baseball Hall of Fame, and he hit 400 home runs.

TATTBIT

Gwen Stefani better not break up with Blake Shelton because she's coming back to The Voice, and that would be awkward.

Stefani, who attended last night's State Dinner at the White House, will join current coaches Alicia Keys, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton for Season 12 of the series, beginning February 2017. Carson Daly is also returning as host.

Breakout star (at least in our mind) Miley Cyrus will return for the 13th season next fall.
