Kimye sets date; Lured doesn't

Also in Tattle: Conan to host MTV show, Lena Dunham goes for Archie.

will be married in Paris on May 24. So says

. Tattle will cover the wedding from our small cubicle in Philadelphia.

In other Parisian news, Tattle is not buying into the rumored Lupita Nyong'o-Jared Leto romance, but believers had their case boosted in the City of Lights yesterday when the pair showed up at the fashion show of Italian designer Miuccia Prada.

Even with an Oscar, however, Lupita had to move her front-row seat in order to make room for a tardy Rihanna.

Since Leto jokily thanked "my future ex-wife Lupita" in his Oscar acceptance speech, there's been speculation that he and his fellow supporting-role winner have been an item.

The "12 Years a Slave" actress has laughed it off - most notably on "Ellen" - but has not denied it.

Hmmm . . . and now both stars appear at the same Paris show at the same time - both nursing jet lag?

Uh, it's a long flight and they may not have slept since Sunday.

Akon

has a goal of bringing solar-powered electricity to 1 million homes in Africa by the end of the year, and the singer is using millions of his own dollars for the cause - "Akon Lighting Africa."

Akon, who was born in the U.S. to Senegalese parents and was raised in both countries, said he was "pained" after seeing people in Africa without electricity.

"How could you build any infrastructure with no lights?" he said in a recent interview. "Without electricity, you can't even operate the machines to build roads or bridges. . . . That's what created the initiative."

* Comedian and late-night yakker Conan O'Brien, 50, will host this year's MTV Movie Awards.

"After eight years of intense negations, I am honored to announce I am hosting MTV's second most prestigious awards show," he quipped in a statement.

* An L.A. judge approved a big cut in the amount of child support that Beyonce's father must pay because his income dropped like a stone after Bey fired him as her manager in 2011.

A ruling, obtained by the Associated Press, shows that the judge cut the amount that Mathew Knowles must hand over to Alexsandra Wright from $12,000 a month to roughly $2,500 a month. The payments are for a son whom Knowles fathered with Wright while he was still married to Beyonce's mother.

Bey's mom filed for divorce in December 2009, about a month after Mathew was mentioned in Alexsandra's paternity case. At the time, the pair had been married for nearly 30 years.

Judge Scott Gordon's order is retroactive to February 2013.

* TheWrap.com reports that Timbaland has joined Philly native Lee Daniels' Fox drama pilot, "Empire," as a songwriter and song producer.

"Empire" - written by Daniels and Danny Strong, and directed by Daniels - is a family drama set in the world of hip-hop, featuring original and current music. The show stars Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson.

Abby Martin, a Washington-based anchorwoman for the TV network Russia Today, said yesterday that she is standing by her criticism of Russia's military incursion in Ukraine because she would rather risk her job and "go down on the right side of history."

Martin said the network, which is supported by Kremlin cash, has decided not to fire her for expressing her views. She said she would continue to speak out.

"I think that, honestly, it would look really bad if I got fired," Martin told the Associated Press. "I think they probably just weighed their options and just knew that keeping me on would be best. It's good. It's good to show that we have dissent. It would be really, really bad if they fired me and I really hope that they don't do that."

Abby, there are a lot worse things they can do to you than fire you.

* According to Entertainment Weekly, childhood Archie Comics fan Lena Dunham will write a four-part Archie story to be published in 2015.

In the plot-free narrative, Betty and Veronica have no more time to fight over Archie because they're too busy talking about themselves.
