Tattle: Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi and fiance Jionni LaValle have a son

ANOTHER SIGN that the apocalypse is upon us.

Snooki had a baby.

The reality-TV star and her fiancé, Jionni LaValle, welcomed 6-pound 5-ounce Lorenzo Dominic LaValle at just before 3 a.m. Sunday at St. Barnabas Medical Center, in Livingston, N.J., MTV said.

In a birth announcement for the ages, a Snooki rep said, "The world just got another Guido!!! Nicole, Jionni & Enzo are doing great!"

MTV congratulated Snooki and Jionni and looked toward pimping out the newborn on "Jersey Shore."

"We couldn't be happier for Nicole and Jionni on the healthy delivery of their baby boy!" MTV said in a statement. "We look forward to Lorenzo's first trip to the Jersey Shore and can't wait to see his first animal print onesie."

The delivery of Lorenzo, by the way, was the first delivery Snooki had ever been part of that didn't involve pepperoni.

"True Blood" may have aired its fifth-season finale Sunday night, but fans of the show can still eat it up.

Literally.

A new cookbook will show you how to concoct bloodred beet bisque, crimson sweet tea and other Cajun delicacies inspired by the hit HBO vampire drama.

True Blood: Eats, Drinks, and Bites from Bon Temps, was compiled by Cajun chef Marcelle Bienvenu and is out Wednesday.

"I'm going to be honest with you, I had never seen the show before they asked me to do this cookbook," said Bienvenu, a chef from the Cajun town of St. Martinville, La., who lived in New Orleans for several years and now teaches culinary arts at Nicholls State University, in Thibodaux, La.

"I sat down and watched it with my notebook, and I was amazed how much food was mentioned in the series," she said. "It was fun making the recipes come to life."

Besides food, the cookbook includes nearly two dozen drink recipes with names like Tequila Moonrise, Lovin' in the Coven and Moonshine Rising.

Continuing HBO's tie-in with food, Treme: Stories and Recipes from the Heart of New Orleans is due out next spring.

* Chicago's Justin "Nordic Thunder" Howard outmimed New York's Matt "Airistotle" Burns to become this year's air guitar world champion, in northern Finland.

The international contest has been held in the city of Oulu since 1996.

* British public-relations guru Max Clifford said Friday that he'd been approached by two women who claimed to have more material on Prince Harry, raising the possibility that the world may soon be seeing more compromising images of the British royal.

Not so hard to believe, Harry.

* ABC Family, whose slogan is "A new kind of family," has given a green light to a series pilot from Jennifer Lopez's production company about a lesbian couple and their diverse family.

"The Fosters" is about two women raising a "21st century," multiethnic mix of foster and biological kids.

The Parents Television Council is already planning its protest.

* Speaking of new kinds of families, musician Rufus Wainwright has tied the knot in Montauk, Long Island, with his longtime partner, Jorn Weisbrodt.

Wainwright and Weisbrodt have a 1-year-old daughter together in a parenting partnership with Lorca Cohen, daughter of Leonard Cohen. Wainwright and Weisbrodt were engaged in 2010.

People magazine says celebs in attendance included Alan Cumming, Julianne Moore, Yoko Ono and Sean Lennon, Antony Hegarty, Lou Reed, Carrie Fisher and producer Mark Ronson, who also assisted with DJ duties during the reception.

* Usher has been awarded primary physical custody of his two sons, ending a long legal fight with his ex-wife.

Fulton County (Georgia) Superior Court Judge Bensonetta Tipton Lane ruled Friday that Usher will have primary custody of 4-year-old Usher Raymond V and 3-year-old Naviyd Ely Raymond, according to Cherrise Boone, spokeswoman for the court clerk's office.

Boone said Usher and his ex-wife, Tameka Foster Raymond, will have joint legal custody. Tameka's visitation hasn't been determined yet.

The custody decision comes after Tameka's 11-year-old son, Kile Glover, died last month after he was critically injured in a boating accident.

Jazz singer-pianist Diana Krall, who once shared a glass of wine with Neil Armstrong, honored his memory Saturday night by tenderly playing "Fly Me to the Moon" during a concert at the Hollywood Bowl.

"He's probably thinking, 'Do I have to listen to that song again?' " Krall said lightly, after gazing up at the night sky from the stage of the outdoor amphitheater.

* Following the death of Armstrong, London's Daily Telegraph tweeted: "Obit: Neil Armstrong: First American woman in space, who showed millions of little girls that they can be heroes . . . "

NBC's website, meanwhile, wrote, "Astronaut Neil Young, first man to walk on moon, dies at age 82."

That error, according to the Huffington Post and the Associated Press, stayed up for about 10 minutes, until someone over the age of 12 looked at the site.

As every right-thinking American knows, astronaut Neil Young was the first man to walk on Harvest Moon.
