Tattle: 'Glee' rumors unfounded?

Rest easier Gleeks, rumors of Kurt (Chris Colfer), Finn (Cory Monteith) and Rachel (Lea Michele) being done with “Glee” after this season are not entirely accurate.

Rest easier Gleeks, rumors of Kurt (Chris Colfer), Finn (Cory Monteith) and Rachel (Lea Michele) being done with "Glee" after this season are not entirely accurate.

"Just because they're graduating doesn't mean they're leaving the show," co-creator and executive producer Brad Falchuk told thousands of fans gathered at Comic-Con yesterday.

What "Glee" was doing at Comic-Con is a whole different tune.

Once in love with Amy

From the end of former addict Russell Brand's blog post on the sad death of former addict Amy Winehouse: "Not all of us know someone with the incredible talent that Amy had but we all know drunks and junkies and they all need help and the help is out there. All they have to do is pick up the phone and make the call. Or not. Either way, there will be a phone call."

Also passing along condolences was legendary crooner Tony Bennett, who recorded a duet of "Body and Soul" with Winehouse in March for his next album.

"She was an extraordinary musician with a rare intuition as a vocalist and I am truly devastated that her exceptional talent has come to such an early end. She was a lovely and intelligent person and when we recorded together she gave a soulful and extraordinary performance. I was honored to have the opportunity to sing with her.

"It had been my sincere hope that she would be able to overcome the issues she was battling, and I send my deepest sympathy to her father, Mitchell, her entire family and all of those who loved her."

Spielberg at Comic-Con

Steven Spielberg said Friday that if conversions could be done well enough that the result looked like a movie shot in 3-D (as opposed to the crap 3-D Hollywood is foisting upon us), then "Jurassic Park" or "Jaws" might be candidates for a makeover.

Spielberg was at Comic-Con, the international comic-book convention in San Diego, to preview "Tintin" and receive the Inkpot Award, given to notable convention guests.

He also provided a thrill during an audience Q&A, when a fan came to the microphone with a shirt reading: "If possible I would love to meet Steven Spielberg just to shake his hand and say thank you very much."

Spielberg invited the fan on stage, where they shook hands and posed for photos taken by none other than "Lord of the Rings" director Peter Jackson.

Is Quaid just acting nuts?

Randy Quaid says he would like to return to the U.S. one day, but he and his wife still fear they are being persecuted by California prosecutors and tabloid media.

Is being persecuted by prosecutors better than being prosecuted by persecutors?

The Quaids, who face felony vandalism charges in Santa Barbara and have missed several court appearances in the case, claim they are the victims of corrupt forces and are demanding an investigation.

Randy previously claimed to Canadian authorities that he was being hunted by "Hollywood star-whackers" who had killed his friends David Carradine and Heath Ledger.
