Healthcare collaborative accepting entrepreneurial ideas

Philadelphia's Health Care Innovation Collaborative will accept entrepreneurial ideas that tackle the problems of people with chronic diseases through Jan. 15, the group said Wednesday.

Philadelphia's Health Care Innovation Collaborative will accept entrepreneurial ideas that tackle the problems of people with chronic diseases through Jan. 15, the group said Wednesday.

Winners, who will be picked starting in March, will receive support from the Collaborative's members to bring their products or services to market.

The Collaborative's founding members are Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern Pennsylvania, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Comcast, Drexel University, Independence Blue Cross, Safeguard Scientifics Inc., Jefferson Health, and the University of Pennsylvania Health System.

Submissions, which are welcome from anywhere in the world, must be made through an online portal at http://www.greaterthanhealthcare.com/.
