In honor of National Small Business Week, the Beech Companies will unveil its North Philadelphia Black Business directory on Thursday.

The Small Business Week Open House event will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at 1510 Cecil B. Moore Avenue.

It will include a panel discussion and presentations from Beech Business Bank, Entrepreneur Works, FINANTA, CCP’s Power Up Your Business Program, SCORE, and Temple Small Business Development Center. The Eastern Minority Supplier Development Council, which connects minority-owned businesses to corporations that want to purchase their goods and services, will also participate.

Businesses in the new directory are located between Spring Garden Street and Allegheny Avenue, and between Front and 33rd Streets. The directory will be available in hard copy and through a smartphone app. The event is free, but registration is required. If you are interested in attending, email the organizers (northphillybiz@outlook.com).
